Until recently, guest posting was a common strategy for building content as well as backlinks. For instance, if you allowed guest posts on your blog, you would get free post, and the poster would get a backlink. However, with the evolution of AI, everyone is using AI generated content, and no one is willing to accept guest posts for the fear of getting spammy posts

Well, what do you feel is a popular alternative these days?

I think in my opinion, you have work work with trusted posters whom are known not to be using AI tools for content generation. I know a lot of blog owners doing things that way.

AI is fine to brainstorm topics or to use AI topics presented, but to write the actual post with AI is unethical.

And I'm not sure how search engines are punishing AI (or if they are).

My experience with blogging is limited. I only tried with free blogging. I wasn't very serious. But I can understand sponsored posts on popular blogs can help your blog.

Many people NEVER use AI. AI-generated content is usually always frowned upon by search engines and search engines never actually rank such kind of content and this is why we still need genuine writers who will always contribute human-written content on blogs.

I am quite sure search engine companies use some kind of special software that can help them detect AI. There are various different kinds of software that can help with that. For example, Quillbot is a great tools that can help detect AI content.
