SPARQL

While doing some research on different Query languages I came cross this one which was founded in 2008 by W3C. A couple major implementations of SPARQL are used on OpenLink Virtuoso, and Apache Jena. (The former being a database engine and middleware hybrid whereas Apache Jena is a open source semantic web framework for Java.) Chances are a good number of forum admins probably won't ever have the need to learn SPARQL but if you're into database programming it's probably a good idea to learn as many different ones since so many companies rely on different database structures. I agree it should be learned. "Better safe than sorry" if you're into databases.
