Who is looking to into trying it? This mod has not been approved by phpBB staff, though.

Did you ever get the error you ran into resolved? I seen that you posted in the support thread for this extension. I haven't installed this on my phpBB forum yet, instead I changed the avatar settings in the ACP and that seems to resolve the avatar restrictions. This is better if it works though since you don't need to mess around with settings yourself and your members don't need to resize their avatars.
