I feel like MyBB is a bit behind these days. I recently converted a MyBB forum to Ubb.threads because I was getting way too much spam even though I had anti spam measurements on.

I used the Stop Forum Spam plugin, but it really wasn't filtering things the way I thought it would. So I opted to enable admin approval so I could delete all the spam accounts that signed up daily.
