Who has tried it as an admin or user? How would you compare it to other software? What themes and mods you find likeable?

NodeBB is one of the forum software that I learned recently. In fact, I did not kn ow about this software until few months ago. I came to know about this software when a client of mine created a forum using this software and made me a secondary admin.
