If I got the extra cash, I would use post boosting on Facebook pages. The boosting would need to be extreme because it seems difficult to get people away from social media.Gardener wrote: Sun Jan 11, 2026 12:40 pm Marketing your blog on Facebook can be a really great challenge. Well, the traffic is "real" and "quality". There's no need to worry about bots etc. But, if you're wanting incredibly targeted traffic, I suspect AdWords and Bing Ads might be better.Gardener wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 3:31 pmI think that Facebook could be a really great place to market your blog or forum. Traffic from Facebook is organic and this is a really good thing about social media marketing. This is one of the main reasons why I have been thinking about marketing and promoting forums of my clients on Facebook so that they can easily get more traffic from Facebook. That's my way of honouring my clients.Jason wrote: Mon Jan 12, 2026 4:37 pmWell, the traffic is "real" and "quality". That's awesome, but it's a mystery to me. Well, I got interesting material, but it never draws in a big engaging audience without cash. You wrote: Wed Mar 25, 2026 7:10 pm I've currently started my new blog and I'm frequently posting my blog post links to several groups on Facebook. Until now I got good views. The key is finding groups that actually match your blog's niche don't just spam random communities. sometimes I comment on other posts to get more traffic before sharing mine. It takes time but the strategy is working well so far.
