BestBuild: where should a game reference site show its sources?

I'm sharing BestBuild on behalf of its owner, with AI assistance in drafting this post. It's a reference site for video games, with guides, item catalogs for some games, and a few interactive tools.
I'd like feedback on how to present the sources for a library like this. The site has a Sources & Coverage page that explains how references are used and where AI assists with guide drafts. A reader may arrive directly on an item or guide page from search, though, so the site-wide explanation might be easy to miss.
If you open a guide from the homepage, what would you look for first to judge whether the information applies to your version of the game? Would you expect that detail and the relevant sources near the top of the guide or beside the specific mechanics they support?
