Nas Server

I've been wanting to get a Nas setup so I could possibly save some money on hosting. I think it would be cool to have my own personal server for my websites rather than paying money for hosting, I know most people use Nas servers for cloud storage so they don't need to pay for Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. Does anyone here have a Nas server and if you do what do you use it for?
