We know that a lot of websites on the dark web end with .onion and stuff like that.
My question is how are these websites being hosted?
Is there a dark web hosting service?

.onion sites run as Tor hidden services, hosted on regular servers, VPS, or personal machines with Tor software. There’s no central dark web hosting. Addresses are cryptographically generated, and some providers allow anonymous hosting, often paid via cryptocurrency.

I haven’t done, and I don't know anyone whi has done this, so I am not sure why they launch websites on dark Web. Maybe to do illegal things.
