How might MyBB bounce back from its slump? It seemed to once be the most popular free forum software.

I think it needs to make the forum responsive. One of the major drawbacks for this forum is does not adapt well on mobile devices.

It was impossible to work with because MyAlerts wouldn't install, but then again some effort could have fixed that, but it looks bad if obstacles for such vital things exist.

For MyBB to recover, they must provide a fully responsive default theme, which MyBB 1.9 beta promises.
