What hosting do you use?

I upgraded my hosting from shared to VPS a few months ago. My hosting costs have greatly increased and this is one major disadvantage. However, I have full control over my server, which is a plus point.

I use Namecheap for my forum and for my three Wordpress sites I use WPMU Dev as they offered me a years free hosting if I transferred to their services.

How's the hosting from those two companies?

I've heard bad things about Name cheap but I've personally never had any issues with them.

I also have enjoyed using the WordPress one.

I'm using Create A Forum which utilizes smf for the software. I haven't had to use the support forum yet so I can't comment on that except to say I tried registering on there and it's closed to new members. The uptime and loading speed more than make up for not being able to register on the support forum. For a free host, loading time is super fast, which you don't find with free hosting anymore. I don't have money to spend on stuff like hosting and domains but that doesn't bother me at all as I'm not looking to be the next Reddit or anything like that. Even if only a few people are posting at a time then I'm happy

The support thing is troubling. I wonder why they are closed to support, even for paid members.

Right now, I use Namecheap for my forums and blog. Namecheap is awesome, in fact I never regretted using them.

Why is that the case?

Actually my ip is banned via stopforumspam which is why I disabled sfs on my forum. I sent an email explaining but my hopes aren't high

My hosting has no VPS option, so I need to figure a way around it if traffic increases.
